Alika Smekhova «A Romance with the Romance»

Alika Smekhova’s musical and poetic performance «A Romance with the Romance» is a heartfelt programme featuring Russian and Gypsy romances, as well as love poetry by Anna Akhmatova. She will be accompanied by virtuoso guitarist Roman Zorkin, a laureate of national and international competitions.

Alika Smekhova is an Honoured Artist of Russia, a Soviet and Russian theatre and film actress. Her artistic career began in Kazakhstan, where she played leading roles in the films «The Tick» (1990) and «The Woman of the Day» (1989), set in the old Almaty.
