«The Nutcracker with the Stars» - New Year Performances

As the New Year approaches, R-Production and the Abay Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre proudly present the long-awaited ballet «The Nutcracker with the Stars», a timeless symbol of Christmas magic and the warmth of family spirit.

Under the enchanting music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and the production of People’s Artist of Kazakhstan Gulzhan Tutkybayeva, the audience will be transported into a fairytale world where goodness triumphs over darkness and miracles come to life.

The performance features world ballet stars Tatyana Melnyk and Motomi Kiyoto (Étoiles of the Hungarian National Opera and Ballet Theatre), along with the ballet company and symphony orchestra of the Abay Opera House. With Vasily Vainonen’s choreography, exquisite costumes, and breathtaking stage design, this production captures the festive magic of the season and promises to remain in your heart.
