The New Year’s fairy tale, which has long become a symbol of the approaching holiday season, has for many years adorned the festivities and created a special atmosphere. It is hard to imagine the New Year celebrations without Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s genius ballet The Nutcracker, which evokes a sense of magic and anticipation of miracles.

This year, the Astana Opera has prepared a truly magnificent pre-holiday gift for its audience — a production of this enchanting ballet. Both children and adults will be able to enjoy the captivating music, exquisite sets, and the artistry of the performers, immersing themselves in the festive spirit.

The performances will begin on 17 December and run through to New Year’s Eve — 31 December, giving every guest unforgettable emotions and a magical New Year mood.
