Village Tales

The social drama «Village Tales» is based on three stories by the writer Oralkhan Bökei - «My Grandmother’s Trough», «Farewell, My Love», and «When Fortune Turns Away». To bring the audience closer to the atmosphere of rural life and to create a heartfelt connection between the viewers and the actors, the play unfolds in the setting of a Kazakh village. These timeless stories by the great writer will come to life on stage for the very first time.
