Shugyla Sagynbekova has been pioneering English-language stand-up comedy in Kazakhstan since 2023. She has organized over 15 open mics in Astana, her solo show was attended by the former U.S. Ambassador, and she released her special on YouTube  - becoming the first Kazakh female comedian to publish a full English-language special online.

Now, she's taking her comedy abroad, but in November, Shugyla is returning to her hometown with a brand-new show!

She also invites anyone who wants to try stand-up to perform at the open mic.
