The Legend of Love (Temirtau)

«The Legend of Love. Zheztyrnak» is a contemporary theatrical interpretation of an ancient figure from Kazakh mythology.

Zheztyrnak - the embodiment of terrifying power and primal sorcery - is portrayed here in a new light: as a woman cursed with loneliness, yearning for an impossible love.

Her sharp claws symbolise not only fear, but also the pain of a heart scarred by fate.

This is a story where myth becomes allegory - a tale of the struggle between light and darkness, the cost of choice, and the question of whether love can break a curse.

In this mystical, romantic, and tragic world, ancient legends come alive to ask an eternal question: which is stronger - fear or love?
