A child is a blessing, but a child’s success is a hundredfold happiness.

«Take away my fortune if You must, Lord, but never my child».
                                                                               (Folk saying)

At the very moment when Kojabek, once a respected and hardworking man, was ready to enjoy the fruits of his life and the blessings of his people, tragedy struck, his only son, stricken by an unknown illness, passed away. Shattered by grief, Kojabek and his wife could not comprehend what sin had brought them such sorrow, their hearts heavy with unanswered prayers.

Yet fate, in its mysterious way, had other plans. A message from the city rekindled the dying flame of hope, news that somewhere far away, their late son had left behind descendants of his own. Grasping at this fragile chance, the old man gathers his strength and sets off on a journey to find the continuation of his lineage, the living echo of his beloved child. What awaits him is a revelation: not one, but several children. But are they truly his son’s? Will Kojabek succeed in bringing them back to the ancestral home, to the house where their father was born and raised? The play gently unfolds these questions, leading the audience through a heartfelt story of loss, faith, and the search for meaning - a story where love seeks redemption beyond the boundaries of life and death.
