«Turandot» is a theatrical production inspired by an ancient legend that has travelled through centuries. The story of the proud princess, first told in the tales of the Eastern poet Nizami, became the foundation of Italian playwright Carlo Gozzi’s world-famous drama «Turandot».

Turandot, the only daughter of the Chinese Emperor, poses a riddle that no one can solve. The reason behind her hatred and wrath toward men, and her merciless vengeance, remains a mystery to all. Only Prince Calaf dares to seek a path to the heart of this cruel and tormented princess. But will he succeed? Can the torment of love conquer her icy soul?
