What happened at the zoo? Premiere!
Setting: New York City, Central Park, in the 1960s - and Kazakhstan, Aktobe, in the present day.
At the heart of the story are two individuals from vastly different social backgrounds and life experiences. They see the world - and the same events - through completely different lenses. Their meeting and conversation seem unlikely, even impossible… but fate has other plans.
Many of us find comfort and safety in stability - even if it’s not the kind that brings us happiness.
But each of us has the power to decide how this story ends, and whether we have the courage to shape that ending into what we truly desire…
Are we capable of true understanding?
Can we try to see the world through someone else’s eyes - someone who is not like us? Can we accept them as they are, take a step toward them? Or is it easier to erase or reshape everything that doesn’t fit into our familiar worldview?
Is it worth trusting people - and what is the real difference between trust and naïveté?
In a light, interactive, tragicomic yet grounded performance, you’ll discover what really happened at the zoo.
And don’t be too quick to order a taxi after the show. It may seem like the end - but it isn’t. Not yet.
