Opening of the Concert Season of the Kazakh Folk Instruments Orchestra named after Segiz Seri

The Kazakh Folk Instruments Orchestra named after Segiz Seri opens its new concert season.

Founded in 2000, the orchestra has been under the artistic direction and chief conductorship of Honoured Worker of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairly Gafurov since 2003.

The orchestra’s mission is to promote and popularise the national musical heritage while also presenting contemporary classical works to its audiences.
