Korogly is a historical and folkloric drama that tells the story of the Turkic peoples’ struggle for freedom and justice. Through the fate of the valiant Raushanbek and his son Korogly, who rise up against the cruel ruler Shagdat Khan, the play reveals the indomitable spirit and resilience of the people.

Carrying the heavy legacy of his father, Korogly continues the fight against injustice, defending the honour of his homeland. This work glorifies the ideals of heroism, spirit, and justice, while also reflecting the deep cultural roots of the Turkic world.
