Marriage in Italian
The play «Marriage in Italian» based on the play «Filumena Marturano», one of the most famous works of the Italian playwright Eduardo de Filippo, is a difficult story of love suffered, full of refractions of life situations, which are aimed at the victory of a loving woman. A woman living according to the laws of her own destiny, living and winning!
Honoured Culture Worker of the Russian Federation Mikhail Filimonov (Chelyabinsk, Russia) was invited to stage the play, with Kanat Maksutov acting as the production designer.
The melodrama is dedicated to the anniversary of the stage master, actress of the State Academic Russian Drama Theatre named after M. Gorky. M. Gorky, holder of the Certificate of Honour of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, «Veteran of Labour», «Excellent Worker of Culture» Natalia Ivanovna Matveeva.
The performance also involves leading actors of the theatre: Honoured Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Commander of the Order of Friendship of the Russian Federation Sergey Matveev, «Excellent Worker of Culture» Zinaida Abanazidi, «Excellent Worker of Culture» Oksana Boyko, «Worker of Culture» Alexander Korzhenko, Evgeny Karacharov, Polina Kharlamova, Ayzhuldyz Khalikova, Yuri Kozulev, Sagi Sarzhan and Dias Kozhantaev.
