«He knew two fairy tales. One was born of his own innocent imagination, unknown to anyone else. The other was told to him by his grandfather. Later, both disappeared.»

This heartfelt performance makes you want to believe that the delicate thread connecting generations - the bond between grandfather and grandson, rooted in national and cultural identity - will never be broken. Preserving that golden bridge depends on each of us.

In this deeply moving tale by a great writer, we follow the life of six adults and a seven-year-old boy living amidst stunning nature in a remote corner of the world. Through the magical stories told by his grandfather, the child blurs the lines between myth and reality. He holds onto the hope that one day his father will arrive sailing the fabled “White Ship.”

He gazes endlessly through binoculars towards the horizon, builds a ship of dreams on the water at dusk, longs for a father he’s never met, misses the warmth of a mother’s embrace, finds no comfort in those around him - only in his grandfather, his one source of solace.
But what will become of this small boy with a vast heart and an unshakable dream?

Told through the eyes of a child, this stage production - part fable, part emotional reflection - gives voice to the joys, sorrows, and longings of the world. It is a performance that will not leave any viewer unmoved.
