Dariga Zhurek

Dariga Zhurek is a poetic drama in two parts based on the profound works of the celebrated Kazakh poet Mukagali Makatayev, adapted for the stage by Kuandyk Kasymov. The production brings together two of the poet’s iconic narrative poems - Dariga Zhurek (Oh, My Soul) and When the Swans Sleep - forming a lyrical journey that is certain to touch the hearts of audiences.
