GAME OVER: Dark Bot Attack
The Novosibirsk Regional Puppet Theatre presents a cyber-thriller about the clash between the worlds of gadgets and virtual games.
A schoolboy named Andrey launches his own video blog and calls himself Andron the Blogger. Without a second thought, he shares all his secrets and passwords online. But deep within the Web, a dangerous computer virus known as the Dark Bot is watching him. This virus dreams of breaking out of the virtual realm and entering the real world - and Andron has become the «key» to that dream...
This is a thrilling and educational performance about digital literacy and the importance of protecting personal data online.
The play is a laureate of the III International Puppet Theatre Festival «Carousel of Tales» (Cheboksary) in the category «Best Performance.»
About the Theatre
The Novosibirsk Regional Puppet Theatre was founded on September 1, 1933, as a puppetry studio under the Novosibirsk Youth Theatre.
Its first season opened in May 1934, and two years later the theatre became an independent creative institution. During the Great Patriotic War, the Central State Puppet Theatre from Moscow, led by the legendary Sergey Obraztsov, was evacuated to Novosibirsk. At that time, the Novosibirsk theatre became a branch of the famed troupe, and to this day, the company proudly continues the traditions of the Obraztsov school.
Today, the theatre boasts nearly 60 productions for children, teenagers, and adults. It is a regular participant and award-winner at both national and international festivals, including «Ishara» (India) and «Mobarak» (Iran).
