The Karakol Ski Resort is located in Issyk Kul district, near the Karakol mountain range. The base was founded back in Soviet times, the purpose of which was to train the Olympic team of the country. In 2004, the Karakol ski resort was completely modernized and now the recreation center meets all modern standards. Providing services not only to professional athletes, but also to lovers of ski sports and outdoor recreation. 

On the territory of the Karakol resort there are: 

• four chairlifts (two 2-seater and two 3-seater)
• three hotel buildings
• houses-chalets
• restaurant
• cafe on the slope.

The ski base is located at an altitude of 2300 meters above sea level, picturesque slopes with coniferous trees, mild climate, sunny weather and dense snow cover, all this attracts true connoisseurs of an active lifestyle
