Concert «Classics for the Ages»

CLASSICS FOR THE AGES

An evening of classical music at the Philharmonic will fill the soul with light and a profound love for art. On this night, the audience will experience masterpieces by the great composers performed live by the pop-symphony orchestra.

· Richard Strauss - a German composer of the late Romantic era, a vivid representative of German expressionism, renowned above all for his symphonic poems and operas.

· Franz Peter Schubert - an Austrian composer, one of the founding figures of musical Romanticism. He wrote 602 vocal works, nine symphonies, and a vast number of chamber and piano pieces. Schubert’s music remains among the most celebrated examples of the Romantic period.

The second part of the concert will delight admirers of Soviet classics, featuring works by Aram Khachaturian and other renowned composers.

The honoured guest of the evening is once again gracing the stage of the Petropavlovsk Philharmonic - Renat Salavatovich Salavatov, Soviet conductor and composer. He is People’s Artist of the Tatar ASSR, Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan, Honoured Artist of Russia, laureate of the G. Tukai State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Honorary Professor of the Kurmangazy National Conservatory.

This evening of classical music will captivate listeners of all ages. It is a rare opportunity to hear timeless masterpieces in live performance.
