«The Sleeping Beauty» ballet in Ekibastuz
The Sleeping Beauty is a priceless encyclopaedia of classical dance. Thanks to Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s exquisite music and Marius Petipa’s refined choreography, Charles Perrault’s fairy tale has been transformed into a magnificent spectacle, a sumptuous ballet extravaganza.
The production enchants with its marvelous stage design: audiences will behold a velvet-and-gold palace, an enchanted forest, as well as lavish and vividly coloured costumes. The ballet delights with scenes of a grand ceremonial procession, and a masked ball that brings together beloved characters from Perrault’s tales - Puss in Boots and the White Cat, Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf, Princess Florine and the Bluebird. At the heart of the performance are the romantic figures of Princess Aurora and her ardent, devoted prince, alongside the kind and radiant Lilac Fairy, who brings joy and happiness.
Within it all lies a special charm - the magical allure of the ballet.
Glorious music, superb dancing, and festive scenery transport the audience for two hours into the enchanted world of childhood dreams.
