Children Invite to the Opera House

A vibrant and diverse programme will be presented at the concert “Children Invite to the Theatre” by the young artists of the Astana Opera Children’s Studio.

The pupils of the Chorus and Ballet Studios actively participate in the theatre’s productions and concert programmes. These studios bring together children who are passionate about art, possess strong stage presence and have musical talent. The first graduates of the programme are now continuing their education at creative universities in Kazakhstan and abroad.

Since 2022, Astana Opera has introduced a new programme for children—“Theatrical Crafts”, where young participants learn to create props and costumes, as well as explore the fundamentals of visual arts. Before the concert, the pupils will showcase an exhibition of their works for the audience.

On stage, the Children’s Chorus Studio participants will perform pieces from the classical and national repertoire, while the young dancers will present dazzling numbers from ballet masterpieces.
