Big Sister

The story follows Kamazhay, a strong-willed woman who takes on the responsibility of raising her younger siblings after the early loss of their parents. Putting aside her own hopes and dreams, she dedicates her entire life to her brothers and sisters, choosing family over personal happiness. But is her selflessness truly appreciated? Though the play centres on the relationships between siblings, it also delicately addresses broader social issues - the stigma around being an «old maid», the perception of being cold or unemotional, and the role of women who sacrifice themselves for others. «Big Sister» is a heartfelt drama about duty, self-denial, love, and the quiet strength of a woman who becomes the emotional pillar of her family.
