The Path of Friendship

On November 29, 2025, at 5:00 PM, the State Academic Philharmonic named after Yerkegali Rakhmadiyev will host a concert titled «The Path of Friendship», performed by the folk dance ensemble Shalkyma.

The event aims to highlight the artistic depth of Kazakh dance and strengthen cultural ties among nations. The programme blends traditional and contemporary choreographic works, uniting diverse national movements and plasticity on one stage.

Audiences will enjoy masterpieces of Kazakh choreography such as «Inzhu-marzhan», «Kerim-ai», «Kosalka», «Bala Ertis», «Kelinshek», and «Yapurai», alongside dances of the Bashkir, Tajik, Kalmyk, Mongolian, Kyrgyz, Tatar, and Uyghur peoples.

The stage productions are choreographed by honoured artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureates in the field of culture, and international choreographers. Each performance reflects the unique spirit, mindset, and way of life of the people it represents.

The concert will also feature Nurai Tanabayev, recipient of the «Kurmet» Order, Honoured Artist of Kazakhstan Bakhtiyar Adamzhan, and the Saryarka Folk Music Ensemble of the Philharmonic. The fusion of live music and dance promises a truly aesthetic and emotionally rich experience.
