Kroshechka-Khavroshechka
A performance by the Gulliver Puppet Theatre of Kurgan
In this production, following the tradition of many Russian folk tales, we witness the spiritual journey of a poor orphan girl, Kroshechka-Khavroshechka, as she rises from a life of sorrow to a bright and happy future.
Thanks to her kind heart, diligence, and patience, she overcomes all the hardships fate has dealt her. As a reward from above, justice inevitably triumphs.
Infused with the colours of folk tradition, this tale is rich in lyrical depth, wisdom, and musicality. It is brought to life with warmth, humour, and delicate irony by three talented actresses through magical puppet characters.
