Performances by talented Kazakhstani students on the stage of the Chamber Hall have become a cherished tradition. These young musicians study at the leading creative universities of the country and prestigious institutions abroad. The aim of such concerts is to support young talent and promote classical music.
The concert “Musical Holidays at the Astana Opera” features works by Kazakhstani composers and classical masters, performed by students from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, the Gnessin College of Music at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, the Gioachino Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro (Italy), and other institutions.
All performers are outstanding young musicians and winners of prestigious international competitions. Performing in their homeland carries double the responsibility – it is both a test and a result of their work, a report to their native audience and to the teachers who gave them a path into the wider world of music.
