Public Talk «My Mum Liked You» in Astana
«My Mum Liked You»: separation, maternal attachment, and personal boundaries
A thoughtful and supportive conversation on how to establish healthy boundaries in family and partnership: what healthy separation really means, how to recognise signs of excessive parental influence, and what steps can help couples preserve their union.
We will discuss:
• what healthy separation between mother and son looks like;
• where the line lies between warm attachment and dependence;
• early signs of excessive influence and how to notice them;
• how these dynamics affect couples and what can be done;
• how to raise a boy while supporting his independence.
Programme:
• introduction by Roza Ashirbayeva;
• lecture by a certified psychologist from «Harmony» on family roles and the «triangle» dynamic;
• art therapy: a professionally designed session using drawing to explore emotions, better understand your own boundaries, and identify resources that help maintain harmony in relationships;
• public talk with the psychologist, Roza Ashirbayeva, and Anastasia Tukanova, founder of «Harmony»;
• Q&A session;
• case studies and practical recommendations.
For:
