The State String Gaziza Zhubanova Quartet is a renowned ensemble of professional musicians who, for more than three decades, have inspired audiences with their mastery and dedication to the art of music.

The year 2025 is especially significant for the Quartet, as the ensemble celebrates the 30th anniversary of its artistic career, marked by outstanding concerts, festival appearances and tours throughout Kazakhstan and abroad.

The anniversary concert “Bridging Eras: Haydn – Beethoven – Korazbaev” brings together the musical worlds of Europe and Kazakhstan. The programme features masterpieces of Viennese Classicism – string quartets by Joseph Haydn and Ludwig van Beethoven – as well as “Aitys” by contemporary Kazakhstani composer Altynbek Korazbaev, arranged for string quartet by Samat Malimbai.

This evening will become a musical bridge between eras and cultures, where the classical restraint and grandeur of the Viennese school meet the melodic poetry of the Kazakh steppe.
