Additional: All materials are included in the price of the lesson. Finished pieces are given to the author after drying and firing in a muffle kiln. Please do not be late for the class. The lesson ends exactly on time.

Description: During the lesson with the support of the master you will create a unique product from clay on the potter's wheel!  

You will plunge into the world of ceramics, where you will learn some techniques of working with red clay, its properties and peculiarities. After all, working on the potter's wheel is significantly different from other types of work with clay. A beginner with no experience of working with this natural material needs the help and support of an experienced teacher.

Together with a ceramist you will make a product that can become part of the interior or be useful in your life.

Why is it interesting?

You will learn how a piece of simple clay is used to create a real work of art, and you will get a unique result, in the creation of which you will take an active part.

You can pick up the piece immediately and after the class. But clay becomes ceramic and can contact with water without destruction only after drying and firing at a temperature of 1000 degrees in a muffle furnace. Therefore, we recommend that you pick up the piece after 2-3 weeks. During this time the clay will dry and we can fire it.

If you decide to cover your piece with glazes, after drying and firing, we will sign you up for another class.
