Pottery Workshop
Join us for a hands-on pottery lesson where you'll create a unique clay piece with the guidance of a professional ceramic artist!
This class is your introduction to the world of ceramics: you'll learn basic hand-building techniques using red clay, discover its characteristics, and understand what makes it so different from materials like plasticine. For beginners with no prior experience, the presence of an experienced instructor is essential - and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Together with the ceramicist, you'll craft an item that can become part of your interior decor or serve a practical purpose in everyday life - whether it’s a stylish ornament, elegant tableware, a quirky souvenir, or a functional home item.
Why is this exciting?
Because you’ll witness firsthand how a simple lump of clay can be transformed into a true work of art - and you’ll be an active part of the process.
You can take your piece home right after the class. However, clay becomes true ceramic - waterproof and durable - only after it’s dried and fired at 1000°C in a kiln. That’s why we recommend collecting your finished piece in 2-3 weeks, after we’ve fired it for you.
If you’d like to glaze your piece, we’ll invite you to another session after it’s been fired.
Important: Please arrive on time, as the session has a strict time limit.
Special note: If you’re inspired to continue creating ceramics on your own, you can upgrade to a membership and join the Ceramic Workshop regularly. Develop your own style and deepen your skills in hand-building techniques!
