On April 19, 2025, at 17:00, a solo concert titled «Aq Kerbez» by Zinat Kasymova, laureate of republican competitions and singer of the «Folk Song» department, will take place at the State Academic Philharmonic named after Erkegali Rakhmadiev under the Akimat of Astana.

Kazakh traditional singing is a unique cultural heritage passed down from generation to generation, a living testament to the spiritual world of the people. Among the young performers contributing to the development of this art, Zinat Kasymova holds a special place.

Zinat Kuandykovna Kasymova is one of the brightest representatives of traditional vocal art. She was born in the Akzhaiyk district of the West Kazakhstan region. In 2016, she graduated from the Faculty of Music at Makhambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan University. Later, she completed a master’s degree in «Traditional Singing» at the Kazakh National University of Arts. Since 2017, she has been working at the State Academic Philharmonic named after Erkegali Rakhmadiev.

Zinat Kasymova is a laureate of several republican and international competitions, including:

• 3rd place at the Republican Competition of Traditional Singers named after Mukhit Meralyuly (2017)

• Special Prize named after Koshergali Makarov at the Republican Competition of Singers and Terme Performers «Komeiinde Kumis Zhyr», dedicated to Kalamkas Orasheva (2018)

The concert evening will feature masterpieces of traditional song art, including folk songs and terme, reflecting the rich musical heritage of the Kazakh people. The audience will enjoy immortal works of great composers such as Akan Sery, Birzhan Sal, Mukhit, Dauletkerey, and Garifolla Kurmangaliyev.

The concert will also feature performances by the «Shalkyma» folk dance ensemble and the «Korkyt» ethno-ensemble. The «Shalkyma» ensemble will showcase the beauty and uniqueness of Kazakh dance, while the «Korkyt» ensemble will create a harmonious blend of traditional music and ethnic motifs, enhancing the concert’s artistic expression. Their performances will add depth to the program and highlight the diversity of national heritage.

Among the honored guests of the evening will be Aigul Kosanova, an Honored Artist of Kazakhstan and a renowned performer of traditional songs, as well as Özgeris Sherikbay, Aidos Ongarbai, Alua Qalymbekova, and Nurzhan Meirhan—all laureates of republican competitions. Their performances will be a highlight of the concert, offering the audience unforgettable emotions.
