Kazakhstan’s musical community continues to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of renowned national composer Sydyk Mukhamedzhanov. Honoring his creative legacy, celebrated lyric soprano and Honoured Artist of Kazakhstan Galiya Baigazinova presents a tribute concert titled “Anmen Orilgen Gasyr”. She dedicates this recital to all admirers of S. Mukhamedzhanov’s work and to lovers of vocal art.

Residents and guests of the capital know Galiya Baigazinova’s beautiful lyrical voice, which has graced every major concert stage in Astana since the city’s founding – and continues to delight her devoted fans to this day. As an expression of deep gratitude to her loyal audience, the singer offers this special evening of vocal music.

The programme features arias and duets from the operas Aisulu and Akan Seri – Aktokty, as well as romances and songs by Sydyk Mukhamedzhanov set to the poetry of Abai Kunanbayev, Saken Seifullin, Muzafar Alimbayev, Kuandyk Shangitbayev, and others.
