An Artist Talk with Australian artist and contemporary jeweller Catherine Grocott will take place at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 22 November at 13:00 as part of the international exhibition “Jewellery Code: Data as Wearable Art”

Catherine Grocott creates conceptual jewellery works that address themes of social justice.

Her practice investigates issues such as femicide, species extinction, the destruction of ocean reefs, and overpopulation — transforming statistical data into expressive wearable pieces of art.
