The concert “Heritage of the Centuries” features works by Kazakhstani classical composers and is dedicated to two significant milestones — the anniversaries of the country’s Constitution and of the great poet, philosopher and educator Abai. Literary and musical works by Abai will be presented by People’s Artist of Kazakhstan and State Prize Laureate of the Republic of Kazakhstan Shakhimardan Abilov, joined by leading soloists of the Astana Opera House.

The programme will also include arias, romances, songs and instrumental pieces by contemporary Kazakhstani composers.
