When you come face to face with the truth, it can already be too late. «The Bear’s Den» is a drama about people lost in the snare of bribery and petty self-interest. In this production, it’s not only fates that collide, conscience and shame, forgiveness and justice are thrown into open conflict. One is a doctor who treats personal gain as the highest truth, convinced there is only one way forward. Another is a woman who has strayed, caught in the trap of reckless love. The third is a forester, tormented by a life crushed under injustice and corruption.

Their paths meet in the forest in the «bear’s den.» But this is more than a chance encounter. It is a reckoning with the past.
