«Ottepel Soundcloud» Festival
A subproject of the media platform Subculture, Kontromarka launches its first major spring festival titled «Ottepel Soundcloud.» This event marks the starting point of a new direction that brings together the local underground scene, emerging artists, and those shaping the contemporary sound of Kazakhstan. The festival will take place simultaneously at two iconic venues in the city: Colossus - the largest newly opened club in Central Asia, setting a new benchmark for large-scale events; and the second floor of Tulpan Berlin, one of Almaty’s most influential and beloved cultural spaces, known for its atmosphere and thoughtful approach to music and art.
The festival’s headliners include 5mewmet, DJ Trippie Flameboy, and Dayerteq, also known as the «Pokhititeli» squad, who will perform in the CIS for the first time at this event. Their participation highlights the festival’s ambition and its mission to elevate the local scene to a new level. «Ottepel Soundcloud» is a festival where local artists of the same genre and mindset share the stage on equal footing with international acts. This is not just the opening of a season - it is a statement that Almaty’s young creative community is ready to shape its own bold, independent, and vibrant musical landscape.
