FREEDOM FESTIVAL IV: The Pulse of World Ballet in Almaty

On November 21 and 23, the stages of Almaty Theatre and Astana Ballet will become the epicenter of a grand ballet event.

The evening will open with the legendary ballet Paquita, a benchmark of classical art that embodies the very best achievements of ballet throughout its history.

This performance is a pride of the State Opera and Ballet Theatre Astana Opera, where under the artistic direction of the outstanding Altynay Asylmuratova, tradition and mastery are given new life.

The lead roles feature the stellar duo of Chloe Misseldine, principal dancer of the American Ballet Theatre (ABT, New York), and Martin ten Kortenaar, premier of the Berlin State Ballet. Chloe is a Youth America Grand Prix finalist and one of the most brilliant young ballerinas in the world, while Martin is an artist whose virtuosic technique and refined style have captivated the leading stages of Europe.

Their joint performance in Almaty and Astana is an event not to be missed.

In the second act, for the first time in Kazakhstan, the Berlin Ballet Company will perform with the program Choreo X.
