Tanjiro Kamado is a young man who joins the organisation dedicated to exterminating demons - the Demon Slayer Corps - after his younger sister Nezuko is turned into a demon. Growing stronger and forging deep bonds with other members of the Corps, Tanjiro faces countless demons alongside his companions Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira.

Throughout his journey, he fights shoulder to shoulder with the Corps’ highest-ranked swordsmen - the Hashira. He battles alongside the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku aboard the Mugen Train, the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui in the Entertainment District, and later with the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and the Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji in the Swordsmith Village.

As the Corps and the Hashira begin a joint training programme - the Hashira Training, to prepare for the upcoming war against the demons - Muzan Kibutsuji suddenly appears at the Ubuyashiki estate. With the head of the Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to help, but Muzan drags them into a mysterious realm.

The place where Tanjiro and the Corps members fall is the demons’ citadel - the Infinity Castle.

And so, the battlefield is set, and the final clash between the Demon Slayer Corps and the forces of the demons begins.
