The renowned Italian piano duo Schiavo-Marchegiani, well known to Kazakhstani audiences, presents the jubilee concert “Italian Passions!”.

Pianists Marco Schiavo and Sergio Marchegiani are highly regarded by audiences and critics alike for their vivid musical individuality, expressive and natural manner of performance, beauty of sound, intensity and powerful energy on stage.

Over the course of their twenty-year artistic career, the musicians have given around 1,000 concerts on the world’s most prestigious stages and at major festivals, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Golden Hall of the Musikverein and the Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the Philharmonie (Great Hall) and Konzerthaus in Berlin, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, as well as concert halls throughout the world.

Alongside their active concert activity, the musicians serve as professors of piano at the conservatories of Alessandria and Potenza, and are regularly invited to give masterclasses and to serve on the juries of international piano competitions worldwide (Spain, Serbia, Turkey, the USA, Mexico, Kazakhstan, Japan, Australia, Brazil, South Africa, and others).

The jubilee concert of the Schiavo–Marchegiani Piano Duet is presented with the support of the Humanitarian Foundation “Degdar”.
