He is diagnosed with a terminal illness, and it seems as if the entire universe has turned against him. But in time, he begins to see that he was wrong. He begins to understand…

It is the character of the Pink Lady - dear Granny Rose - who helps open his heart and mind. To cheer Oscar up, she invents magical tales, fantastic legends, and whimsical stories. Their dialogue swings from sorrow to reflection to laughter, offering the audience a rich palette of emotion.
