AN EVENING OF CLASSICAL MUSIC

Accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the Kazakh National Musical Drama Theatre named after Kalibek Kuanyshbayuly, laureate of international competitions and Chinese pianist Wang Yuqian will present a new concert programme to the capital’s audience.

Wang Yuqian is the First Prize winner of the «PIANALE» International Piano Competition in Germany and the F. Chopin International Piano Competition in China, as well as the Grand Prix winner of the 4th «Path of Mastery» International Piano Competition held in Kazakhstan. Born in Changchun, the musician studied at the N.G. Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory and is currently continuing her artistic journey at the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory under the guidance of Honoured Artist of Russia, Professor Irina Plotnikova. Wang Yuqian has performed on prestigious stages in Russia, China and across Europe, collaborating with leading orchestras. Her expressive and refined performance style has been highly praised by critics.
