Anna Yezhova Concert «Pre-New Year Gathering»
Not just a concert, but a cozy blend of an intimate living-room gig and a festive holiday matinée (or rather, an evening party). In short - a Pre-New Year Gathering.
«Yezhova’s Mittens» may be prickly, but they are warm at heart. Humanities lovers appreciate them for literary references and songs set to poems by Tsvetaeva and Rozhdestvensky. Their sharp, timely lyrics often work as musical therapy - reminding listeners that they are not alone and not losing their minds. Even the toughest men shed a quiet tear when songs about separation and distance are played. Fellow musicians admire their meta-songs - tracks about how songs themselves are created. And those with a sense of humor love them for their ability to laugh at themselves.
At the large concert at La Bohème Theatre, the band will perform many songs written over nearly 20 years - old and new, joyful and bittersweet, well-known and rarely performed, festive and non-seasonal alike. Guests are welcome to come in themed costumes, pajamas, or holiday sweaters.
If you spent your childhood playing a squirrel in kindergarten but secretly dreamed of being a snowflake, a bunny, or a rainbow unicorn - this is your moment. That said, our space is free of judgment: feel free to arrive dressed as an office worker or simply as yourself. Here, everyone is welcome to be whoever they want to be.
