A family comedy about two criminals who unexpectedly start a new life inside a mosque.
After a daring robbery, seasoned outlaws Zhumabek and Ramazan decide to double-cross their boss, keep the stolen money for themselves, and begin anew. While on the run from the police, they stumble into a small village mosque, where they are mistaken for long-awaited masters,  teachers expected to serve the community and educate local children. Hiding both from the authorities and from their ruthless boss, the feared crime lord Kanat «the Crocodile», the two men settle into the quiet village, posing as spiritual leaders while reluctantly carrying out the duties that come with the role. At the same time, they struggle to keep their stolen money safe and out of sight.

As Zhumabek and Ramazan are forced to dive deeper into religious study and daily service to the villagers, they gradually find human connection, a sense of purpose, and  without even realising it the new life they had been searching for all along.
