Mama

Though a mother showers her children with boundless love and care, filling their hearts with warmth, once they grow up and drift away, society begins to shape them in its own way, and the environment moulds their minds. Why, then, do siblings grow distant? Why does a mother’s endless love turn into a longing? Why does estrangement and coldness take root among those once so close? And when the family suddenly learns that their mother has been struck by an incurable illness, the burden of choice falls on someone’s shoulders. Who will make the decision, and how? Who among them will step forward to support each other? In this time of trial, who will truly care for their ailing mother?
These very questions form the core of the play.
