Mama!
This play tells the moving story of maternal love tested by time and the quiet indifference of a grown child. As children grow older, they are swept away by the rush of life, and their attention and affection for their mothers slowly fade. In their minds, she will always be there, understanding, forgiving, and ever patient, an eternal refuge. Yet, in truth, a mother’s heart aches silently with each passing day, consumed by longing and loneliness that quietly gnaw at her soul.
The performance vividly and sincerely portrays the moments of a mother’s life spent in waiting, in hope, and in yearning. Each silent night, each empty chair brings before the audience the image of a mother quietly weeping inside. And the child — too far away, absent not only in presence but even in memory. With every phone call, she listens with hope; when the door knocks, she glances up, expecting her child. But all remains silent.
Every scene revives the sacred image of a mother, reminding the audience that the warmth in her eyes and the tenderness in her voice are the greatest treasures of life. It leaves us with one simple truth: before time takes its toll, every child must learn to cherish this priceless love.
«It is waiting that shortens life and fills it with sorrow. And the most terrifying thing about waiting is not knowing exactly what you are waiting for».
