The Myth of Attila. Premiere!

«Somewhere between the Caspian and the Aral Seas was born the future conqueror of the world, Attila, son of Mundzuk destined to claim twelve crowns and subdue thirty kingdoms across Europe and Asia».

Attila Mundzukuly, the mighty leader of the Huns and a distant ancestor of our people, inspired renowned writer Murat Sultanbekov from Semey to create this play. The production, staged in collaboration with the company of the F. M. Dostoevsky Theatre, is directed by the capital’s own Ulanmyrza Karypbayev.

Echoes of great battles and heroic deeds, the shadows of the past and reflections on the future come alive on stage in this musical and physical performance, unveiling the legendary conqueror’s inner world from a new, unexpected perspective.
