PART 1

On this evening, the stage of the Astana Opera House will be illuminated by a special event – a gala ballet in which the grandeur of classical tradition and the energy of modernity merge into a single breath of dance. The programme features vivid excerpts from classical ballet and national choreography, brought together in a dynamic and visually striking performance. This encounter of tradition and contemporary stage energy opens the evening and sets the tone for the main event.

PART 2

The highlight of the evening will be the premiere of the one-act ballet “Mangiliktin Tort Syry” (“Four Truths — One Eternity”) choreographed by Sultanbek Gumar to the music of renowned contemporary composer Khamit Shangaliev – a profound and emotionally charged choreographic parable about choice, inner strength, and the search for meaning. This is not merely a performance, but an intimate conversation in the language of body, music, and movement, destined to become a highlight of the theatrical season.

The choreographer reveals five stages of a relationship through which lovers pass before attaining genuine closeness. Infatuation gives way to illusion, illusion to struggle, and struggle to acceptance. Only by passing through doubt and pain does true love emerge – not as a sudden surge of emotion, but as a conscious choice, trust, and inner stillness.

This is a story of how feeling becomes a force that unites two worlds into a single eternity. Take this journey together with the ballet artists of the Astana Opera House and become witnesses to this premiere production.
