A Choreographic Performance «Nurgisa»
On 1 November at 17:00, the «Naz» State Dance Theatre under the Akimat of Astana will present the choreographic performance «Nurgisa», dedicated to the 100th anniversary of People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, National Hero, composer and conductor Nurgisa Tlendiev. The production aims to convey the life and creative legacy of the great composer through the expressive language of dance.
The «Naz» State Dance Theatre is the first ensemble to portray Nurgisa Tlendiev’s life story through choreography, transforming his musical heritage into vivid stage imagery. This performance carries deep educational and cultural significance, it seeks to introduce younger generations to the works of Nurgisa Tlendiev, to promote folk music among youth, and to inspire audiences to honour the spirit of national culture and the art of dance.
