«The Snow Maiden»

In the heart of winter, when the village’s livestock feed runs out, three young men - Nurzhan, Amanzhan, and Bakhytzhan - are sent by order of the village leader to bring back hay that was harvested and stacked near Ayyrtau in autumn. Facing biting frost and attacks from hungry wolves, the trio loses their way among deep snowdrifts and high ridges.
One frigid night, exhausted and drifting into sleep, they begin to suffer from frostbite. At that very moment, the haunting melody of the Snow Maiden’s song echoes across the endless white plain.
Struggling against death in a vast frozen desert, the young men still cling to hope. But many more snow-covered trials lie ahead of them...
