This production is based on a real-life story. The protagonist, Kairat, is a living person, and his life inspired this heartfelt tale. The purpose of the play is to shine a light on the hidden injustices and quiet cruelties that often go unnoticed in today’s society - to expose the corruption cloaked behind a veil of normalcy, and the way human values are sold short for selfish gain.
