The State String Gaziza Zhubanova Quartet continues its series of anniversary concerts marking the 30th anniversary of the ensemble’s artistic activity.

The concert Romantic Accent brings together the artistic worlds of Europe and Kazakhstan. The programme features masterpieces by Romantic composers Robert Schumann and Anton Webern, as well as the premiere of a Romantic work by contemporary German composer David Braid, Five Kazakh Impressions, written on special commission for the State String Gaziza Zhubanova Quartet.

This work has already gained recognition on European concert stages, and on this evening the quartet presents it as a musical offering to the Kazakhstani audience.

A romantic evening in which, alongside classical masterpieces, listeners will hear melodies and rhythms inspired by the Kazakh steppe.
