The Little Mermaid (КАТМК)

The famous fairy tale by the great Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen forms the basis of this stage production. Deep beneath the sea, the Sea King lives peacefully with his three daughters. The elder sisters always worry about their youngest sibling and try to protect her. One day, the little Mermaid falls in love with a Prince she rescues during a violent storm.

For the sake of this love, the Mermaid makes great sacrifices. She dares to leave her home and strikes a dangerous bargain with an evil Sea Witch. Through powerful spells, the Witch takes the Mermaid’s beautiful voice and replaces her fish tail with human legs, allowing her to walk and live on land.

Enduring every trial for the chance to be close to her beloved, the Mermaid faces her greatest pain - seeing the Prince yet being unable to speak to him, and having no way to expose the lies of a princess who deceives him in hopes of marriage. For the kind-hearted Mermaid, this is a heavy burden.
But in the end, the story finds a happy conclusion.
