«The Nutcracker with Stars» by Ballet Globe in Astana

The International Dance Festival Ballet Globe and Astana Ballet Theatre invite residents and guests of the city to one of the most anticipated events of December: "The Nutcracker with Stars by Ballet Globe". Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's eternal classic, featuring choreography by Vasily Vainonen, will lead you into a world of fairy tales and miracles in a version revised by People's Artist of the Russian Federation Altynai Asylmuratova.

The story of a prince cursed into a toy and the brave Masha who helps him defeat the Mouse King has long become a symbol of Christmas magic. In this production, it takes on a special warmth and depth, reminding us that miracles happen where people believe in them.

Ballet Globe performances will take place from December 27 to 29 at 19:00.

On December 27 - 29, the Astana Ballet stage will feature American Ballet Theatre and Staatsballett Berlin principal, world ballet star Daniil Simkin, and the refined prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre, Anastasia Stashkevich.
